Bring your expertise in perioperative care to an engaging contract opportunity supporting surgical teams. This role requires a skilled Registered Nurse (Operating Room) or a Certified Surgical Technologist to deliver quality patient care and procedural support in a dynamic surgical environment.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- On call 2-3 days per week, with coverage every other weekend
Qualifications:
- High School diploma required
- Current BLS certification
- NBSTSA certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required for surgical tech applicants
- Minimum of two years of experience in an operating room setting
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons and team members before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Uphold strict aseptic techniques and maintain a safe, sterile environment
- Monitor patient status and support intraoperative care as directed
- Prepare operating rooms, including set-up of surgical instruments and supplies
- Accurately document care and follow facility protocols
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond rapidly to emergent cases as needed
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members to support positive surgical outcomes
