Schedule/Hours:
- Nights, 7:00 pm – 7:00 am
- Flexible guaranteed hours: 36 or 48 hours/week (must be indicated on submission)
- Weekend hours as required
- 13-week assignment
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RN license (or eligibility) for Missouri
- BLS from AHA (required); must obtain 4 trauma credits within first two weeks (if not already held)
- NIHSS (must obtain prior to start if not current)
- At least 1 year of inpatient Telemetry nursing experience
- Competence in drug titration
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to float on a rotational basis
Preferred:
- ACLS certification (AHA)
- Trauma nursing background
- Cardiac/Med Surg experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process for patients with trauma, surgical, and medical needs
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Uphold professional accountability and maintain patient confidentiality
- Participate in orientation and ongoing training
