Take your nursing expertise to the next level by providing critical care in a dynamic operating room environment. As an RN specializing in perioperative care, you'll collaborate with a skilled surgical team to ensure seamless procedures and optimal patient outcomes during this 13-week contract assignment.

Schedule:

  • Shifts: Five 8-hour shifts per week
  • Start times: 7:00 AM and occasional 10:30 AM starts

Qualifications:

  • Active Minnesota RN license or MN temporary permit for Registered Nurses
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum of two years of recent perioperative (Operating Room) nursing experience
  • Proficiency in circulating and scrubbing preferred
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and adaptability in a fast-paced surgical setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and individualized perioperative care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to maintain a sterile and safe environment
  • Monitor patients’ vital signs, administer medications, and respond swiftly to changes in condition
  • Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and equipment, ensuring adherence to strict safety protocols
  • Document all care provided accurately and timely in compliance with hospital standards
  • Support patient advocacy and comfort, offering reassurance and education as needed

$2,477 - $2,611/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
