Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) in Salisbury, NC

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as an Operating Room RN
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred
• Strong working knowledge of operating room protocols, aseptic technique, and surgical instrumentation
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and surgical teams throughout preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases
• Maintain sterile field and strict adherence to infection control measures
• Monitor patient status during surgery and respond swiftly to changes
• Prepare operating room instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures
• Document care accurately and thoroughly in patient records
• Provide support, comfort, and advocacy for patients and families before and after procedures
