Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Travel Opportunity)
Location: San Rafael, CA

A travel nursing opportunity is available for an experienced Operating Room RN with strong perioperative skills. This role requires independence in multiple surgical service lines including Urology, Vascular, Orthopedics, Pain Management, Spine, Ophthalmology, and Plastics.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current RN license with Peri-Op 101 Certification required
  • CNOR certification preferred
  • ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications mandatory
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a variety of surgical specialties
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced operating room environment preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Support surgical procedures across diverse specialties, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety
  • Prepare the operating room with necessary supplies, instruments, and equipment
  • Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-operatively to maintain optimal clinical conditions
  • Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare team members
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and regulatory standards
