Apply NowExciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room to support a dynamic surgical team. This contract position provides the chance to work alongside skilled professionals and care for patients undergoing a diverse range of procedures, including ortho, trauma, and robotics cases.
Schedule:
- 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, fixed
- Thursday & Friday: 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
- Saturday: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Call coverage required on weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays
Key Qualifications:
- Valid California RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- At least 2 years of recent Operating Room experience, including Level I or II trauma
- Experience with ortho, trauma, and robotics surgeries
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience
- Skills checklist submitted at the time of application
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to patients in the Operating Room
- Assist surgical teams during complex ortho, trauma, and robotic procedures
- Respond effectively in high-acuity situations as part of a Level I/II trauma team
- Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery for optimal outcomes
- Communicate collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and allied health staff
- Maintain strict infection control and safety protocols throughout the surgical process
- Participate in required on-call rotation, ensuring seamless coverage for emergent surgical needs
