Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Previous experience in an Operating Room environment
• BLS and ACLS certification (preferred)
• Solid critical thinking and communication skills
• Comfortable adapting to new electronic medical record systems and protocols

Key Responsibilities:

• Circulating and/or scrubbing for a variety of surgical cases
• Collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists
• Ensuring all surgical instruments are sterile and supplies are ready before procedures
• Monitoring and advocating for patient safety throughout operative care
• Assisting with patient preparation and post-anesthesia care
• Maintaining accurate documentation and promptly reporting any changes in patient status
