Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, high-quality patient care across all phases of perioperative nursing, including pre-op, intra-op, and post-op.
- Scrub and circulate for a variety of surgical procedures, adapting to case complexity and physician preferences.
- Ensure operating room preparation, instrument sterilization, and maintenance of a sterile field.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists for optimum patient outcomes.
- Chart accurately and communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active RN license (state eligibility required).
- At least one year of recent OR experience in a hospital setting.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new electronic health records and protocols.
- Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
