Key Qualifications:

  • Current, active RN license
  • At least one year of recent experience in an Operating Room setting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of surgical instrumentation, sterile technique, and patient safety protocols
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surgical suites, ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are sterile and available
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal care
  • Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures, maintaining vigilance for changes in condition
  • Maintain strict aseptic techniques and enforce compliance with all safety standards
  • Accurately document intraoperative events and contribute to seamless transitions from the operating room to recovery
  • Foster a calm, supportive environment for both patients and colleagues
