Step into a pivotal surgical nursing role at a renowned Level One Trauma Center, focusing on Gynecology and Genitourinary procedures within an advanced, fast-paced Operating Room. Your expertise will directly support patient outcomes for all ages, from pediatrics through geriatrics, in a dynamic, team-driven environment.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour shifts from 7a–7p; 36 guaranteed hours weekly
  • Weekend rotation: 1 in 4 weekends
  • One overnight call (11p–7a for Trauma); specialty team call as scheduled

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license with at least 2 years’ Operating Room experience (Level 1 trauma experience required)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience for travel nurses, including Level 1 trauma center background
  • CNOR preferred
  • Proficiency managing robotic-assisted cases (Davinci Xi), and skilled in PCNLs, nephrectomies, ureteral reimplants, hysterectomies, cystectomies, colpocleisis, hysteroscopies, and ureteroscopies
  • Comfortable handling a diverse patient population (pediatric to geriatric)
  • Strong teamwork, time management, accountability, and flexible attitude

Key Responsibilities:

  • Circulate and/or scrub surgical procedures across GYN and GU disciplines
  • Maintain a 1:1 patient care ratio in a 26-bed OR utilizing advanced technologies (Storz, Stryker, Olympus, Intuitive Robotic systems)
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Ortho, and more)
  • Adhere to hospital procedures and teal scrub dress code
