As part of this travel role, you’ll be immersed in an award-winning Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center, distinguished by its commitment to patient-centered care and innovative clinical practices. Working with a diverse and compassionate team, you’ll expand your clinical skills, gain firsthand exposure to advanced technologies, and strengthen your leadership abilities through collaboration in fast-paced, multidisciplinary environments. This assignment is ideal for RNs eager to enhance their reputation and resume with challenging yet rewarding experiences.
Schedule/Hours:
- Shift: Nights, 1900–0700
- Flexible guaranteed hours: 36 or 48 per week
- Weekend hours as required by facility
- 13-week assignment
Core Qualifications:
- Active RN license (Missouri or eligibility)
- BLS (AHA), NIHSS required (may be obtained prior to start)
- 4 trauma credits required (or completed within first two weeks)
- 1 year inpatient Tele experience, including drug titration
- Flexibility to float on a rotational basis
- Strong adaptability, decisiveness, and teamwork
Preferred Skills:
- ACLS (AHA), trauma/inpatient only experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered surgical and medical care utilizing the nursing process
- Coordinate multidisciplinary team activities to optimize outcomes
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold facility mission & values
- Support and evaluate care provided by direct care givers
- Safely manage patient mobility and monitor condition changes
