Travel Registered Nurse - Operating Room | Springfield, Missouri

Elevate your nursing expertise in a role serving a well-respected surgical department within a leading trauma and teaching hospital. Schedule:

• Shift: Evenings, 4x10s, 10:30am-9:00pm
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
• Weekend hours: As required
• Call: As scheduled (approximately 5 or fewer per 8 weeks)
• Orientation is on day shift; night shifts must be available for full week orientation

Qualifications:

• Current RN license valid in Missouri or eligibility to obtain
• BLS certification from AHA (required)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Level 1 or 2 trauma center (teaching hospital accepted)
• Experience as both an OR scrub and circulator RN required
• Positive, motivated attitude and strong communication skills
• Capacity for safe patient handling and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced OR environment

Duties:

• Perform comprehensive perioperative nursing care for all age groups
• Scrub and circulate for a variety of surgical cases, including trauma and critical care
• Coordinate patient care across departments in accordance with nursing best practices
• Maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
