Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and participate in all aspects of perioperative nursing, including pre-op assessment, intraoperative care, and post-op evaluation.
• Assess, plan, implement, and document the care of OR patients, consistently applying the nursing process.
• Delegate and supervise patient care provided by other members of the health care team.
• Communicate essential patient and family information efficiently and compassionately to all members of the surgical team.
• Contribute creative solutions and follow through when patient outcomes differ from expectations.
• Maintain meticulous documentation and uphold rigorous standards for infection control, safety, and compliance.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and unrestricted RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN – OR).
• Proven competency with surgical procedures, sterile technique, and patient monitoring in an OR setting.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-critical environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• BLS certification (other advanced certifications strongly preferred).
