Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Demonstrated experience in the Operating Room or similar perioperative setting
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Strong understanding of aseptic technique and surgical instrumentation
• Exceptional communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills
• Previous experience in circulating and scrubbing roles highly desirable
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively under pressure

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and circulate during operative procedures, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the surgical experience
• Prepare the operating suite with necessary supplies, equipment, and instruments
• Work alongside surgeons and the surgical team to anticipate needs and provide sterile instrumentation
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
• Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient conditions throughout the perioperative phase
• Foster an environment of collaboration, teamwork, and respect within the multidisciplinary team
