Key Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in New York or compact state eligibility
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in operating room nursing
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in scrubbing and circulating preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert perioperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and ancillary staff
- Maintain strict aseptic technique and infection control standards
- Document all patient interventions in accordance with facility protocols
- Respond swiftly to emergencies and changing patient needs
- Support and educate patients and families before and after procedures
