Registered Nurse - Operating Room - Theodore, Alabama

An immediate opportunity is available for skilled Registered Nurses experienced in the Operating Room to support a high-acuity Level 1 trauma center. This contract position offers multiple openings due to urgent staffing needs, with both day and night shifts available to fit your schedule. Your well-rounded expertise, particularly in neuro cases, will make a substantial impact in this dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

• All shifts available: Days or Nights

Desired Background:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Significant experience in the Operating Room setting (OR RN)
• Demonstrated neuro surgical experience required
• Prior work in a Level 1 trauma center strongly preferred
• Ability to respond effectively to emergencies and adapt to rapidly changing priorities
• Excellent critical thinking, organization, and communication skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications current

Key Responsibilities:

• Scrub and circulate in a variety of complex surgical procedures, with a strong emphasis on neuro surgeries
• Respond swiftly and competently to trauma and emergency situations as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Maintain sterile technique, ensure patient safety, and provide patient-centered care throughout the perioperative process
• Efficiently handle instrumentation, supplies, and equipment according to surgical protocols
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with facility standards
