Responsibilities:

• Scrub, circulate, and provide direct nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia personnel, and surgical technologists to maintain a safe, aseptic environment
• Assess, plan, implement, and document perioperative nursing care
• Ensure all surgical instruments and supplies are available and properly handled
• Adhere to established protocols regarding patient safety and infection control
• Monitor patient status and respond swiftly to changes in condition
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding perioperative processes

Qualifications:

• Valid and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one year recent experience in an Operating Room (OR) setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations and prioritize effectively
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills
• Familiarity with sterile technique, safety standards, and surgical instruments
