Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) - Torrance, CA

Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Previous experience in the Operating Room
• Proficiency in perioperative nursing processes and sterile technique
• Ability to respond quickly and calmly in high-pressure environments
• Strong communication skills and commitment to patient advocacy
• BLS and ACLS certification (required)
• CNOR certification (preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care throughout pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases
• Implement and monitor individualized care plans for surgical patients
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control, sterile, and surgical protocols
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia teams, and surgical technologists for optimal patient outcomes
• Effectively document and communicate patient status and interventions
• Participate in surgical counts, equipment checks, and quality assurance processes
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and families
