Registered Nurse - Operating Room | Torrance, California

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room experience
• Proficiency with sterile technique and OR instrumentation
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to respond calmly in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Scrub and circulate during surgical procedures, adhering to aseptic standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and document patient care before, during, and after surgery
• Collaborate with the surgical team, anticipating needs and maintaining a safe environment
• Monitor patients’ responses to anesthesia and facilitate post-operative hand-off
• Ensure proper handling of surgical specimens and accurate counts of instruments/sponges
• Uphold regulatory and facility policies regarding infection control and patient safety
