Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license, in good standing
  • Minimum one year of acute operating room nursing experience preferred
  • BLS certification (required); ACLS certification a plus
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers during a variety of operative procedures
  • Monitor patients’ conditions pre-, intra-, and post-operatively
  • Maintain a sterile environment and anticipate surgical team needs
  • Provide patient and family education related to surgery and recovery
  • Ensure compliance with all infection control and patient safety standards
