Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) - Trinidad, CA

Schedule/Hours:

• Contract-based assignment

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RN license required
• Proven experience as an Operating Room RN
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (or ability to obtain prior to assignment)
• Strong understanding of perioperative nursing principles
• Effective communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in high-pressure situations

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and ensure the proper functioning of equipment and supplies
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams throughout procedures, maintaining sterile technique
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgery
• Document interventions and updates in patient records accurately
• Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols
• Support patient advocacy and provide education to patients and families regarding surgical procedures and recovery
• Work efficiently as part of an interdisciplinary team

Compensation for this role ranges from $2500 to $2700 weekly, reflecting estimated earnings for 40 hours per week. Expense reimbursement may be available for eligible candidates, and actual earnings may vary depending on specific hours worked and eligibility for reimbursements.
