An immediate opportunity is available for a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse with expertise in Ortho, Trauma, and Robotics. This position is for a 13-week contract assignment, providing vital perioperative care within a high-acuity surgical environment. An active California RN license, strong clinical background, and demonstrated travel experience are essential to thrive in this fast-paced setting.
Schedule:
- 3x12s, Fixed
- Thursday & Friday: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
- Saturday: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Call required (weekdays, weekends, nights, holidays)
Qualifications:
- Active California RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIHSS certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the Operating Room (including Level I or II trauma)
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience
- Proven experience in orthopedic, trauma, and robotic-assisted surgeries

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, efficient nursing care throughout all phases of perioperative care
- Circulate and scrub in a variety of surgical procedures, emphasizing Ortho, Trauma, and Robotic cases
- Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Respond quickly to emergency situations as needed, guided by your trauma experience
- Accurately document all aspects of patient care and perioperative activities
- Adhere to strict infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies
