This exciting travel opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room. This 13-week contract position in Valencia, CA offers a dynamic schedule and a chance to work within a fast-paced surgical environment. The role focuses on orthopedic, trauma, and robotic surgeries, providing a diverse and challenging clinical experience.

Schedule:

  • 3x12-hour shifts, fixed schedule
  • Thursday & Friday: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
  • Saturday: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • Call required during weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • Collaborate with surgical teams during orthopedic, trauma, and robotic procedures
  • Maintain sterile techniques and comply with hospital protocols
  • Respond promptly and efficiently during on-call periods
  • Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly

Qualifications:

  • Current California RN license
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience, including Level I or II trauma
  • At least 1 year of previous travel nursing experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in orthopedic, trauma, and robotic surgery settings
  • Skills checklist submission required
