Pediatric Registered Nurse - Operating Room - Warner Robins, Georgia

Step into a dynamic perioperative nursing role dedicated to delivering exceptional care in a fast-paced surgical environment. This opportunity is ideal for licensed Registered Nurses who excel in the operating room and possess expertise in pediatric and general surgical procedures.

Schedule and Shift Details:

• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week
• Call requirements: 1 weeknight on call and call back as needed, with call every 4th weekend
• Weekend rotation: Participate in call every 5th weekend
• Holiday coverage: Scheduled to work 75% of observed holidays
• No floating to other units

Key Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered RN license with Operating Room experience
• Demonstrated competency in pediatric surgical nursing
• Solid knowledge of perioperative policies, safety standards, and sterile techniques
• BLS certification (additional perioperative or pediatric certifications are a plus)
• Effective critical thinking and quick decision-making skills in high-pressure environments
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Circulate and/or scrub in a variety of pediatric and adult surgical cases, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care throughout the perioperative process
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical staff to maintain a safe and efficient operating room
• Provide comfort and education to pediatric patients and families during perioperative procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation, supplies, and equipment in accordance with hospital protocol
