Qualifications:

  • Current and valid RN license
  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an Operating Room setting
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Strong knowledge of perioperative procedures and sterile techniques
  • Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced environments

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients pre-, intra-, and post-operatively
  • Circulate and/or scrub for a variety of surgical specialties
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to ensure patient safety
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to hospital protocols
  • Demonstrate leadership in emergencies and mentor less experienced staff as needed
