Deliver excellent patient care as an Operating Room Registered Nurse in a dynamic surgical environment. This contract role is ideal for professionals skilled in perioperative nursing, eager to make an impact in a fast-paced operating room setting. Qualifications:
- Current and valid RN license
- At least one year of recent experience in an operating room (OR) setting
- Strong knowledge of perioperative procedures and sterile technique
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficient assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Schedule/Hours:
- Variable shifts (details provided upon interview)
- Occasional on-call responsibilities may be required
Key Responsibilities:
- Circulate and/or scrub during OR procedures, adhering to established protocols
- Assess, plan, and implement patient care before, during, and after surgery
- Maintain a sterile environment and monitor for any breaks in technique
- Communicate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to coordinate care
- Document patient status and all intraoperative activities accurately and promptly
- Support patients and their families with timely updates and compassionate care
