As a travel Registered Nurse specializing in Orthopedic Surgery, you'll gain hands-on exposure to high-acuity, fast-paced care and cutting-edge technology. Collaborate closely with seasoned surgeons and experienced colleagues across five orthopedic OR suites, enhancing your skills in total joint revisions, trauma procedures, and robotic-assisted surgeries. Schedule/Hours:
- Flexible: 10- or 12-hour shifts available
- Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Weekend coverage: Every 1 in 4 weekends, 12-hour shifts
- Call: Includes one overnight trauma call, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (varies by specialty team)
Key Responsibilities:
- First scrub complex total joint revision and multi-vendor ortho trauma cases
- Proficient use of Stryker, DePuy, Smith & Nephew, Zimmer systems, and the Mako robotic platform
- First assist on polytrauma surgeries with minimal supervision
- Strict adherence to turnover and on-time start targets
- Collaborate in a team setting, supporting efficiency and optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications:
- Active RN license (in good standing)
- Minimum 2 years’ recent orthopedic surgery experience, including trauma cases
- Comfortable with multiple vendor technologies and advanced surgical instrumentation
- Experience with Mako robotic system and Hana OR table
- CNOR preferred
- Flexibility and accountability essential
