Key Responsibilities:

• Circulate and scrub during a variety of operative procedures
• Verify and maintain sterile environments and surgical protocols
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgery
• Collaborate efficiently with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists
• Prepare instrumentation and supplies for surgical cases
• Document interventions and patient responses accurately in health records
• Provide patient education regarding perioperative care
• Follow all safety, confidentiality, and infection control regulations

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current registration
• Minimum of one year recent experience as an Operating Room RN
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred
• Strong understanding of aseptic technique and perioperative processes
• Excellent assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Effective communication and teamwork skills

Desired Experience:

• Prior contract or travel nursing in the Operating Room setting is a plus
