Desired Qualifications:

  • Active, unencumbered RN license
  • Previous experience in an Operating Room setting required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in perioperative nursing procedures, including patient assessment, scrubbing, circulating, and assisting with procedures
  • Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surgical suites and ensure instruments and equipment are sterile and available
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to support safe, efficient, and effective procedures
  • Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after surgery
  • Administer medications, including anesthesia adjuncts as directed
  • Maintain accurate electronic documentation and patient records
  • Adhere strictly to established infection control and safety protocols
  • Advocate for patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process
