• Must be able to take call

Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted RN license in the state
• Current BLS (AHA) upon hire; maintain ongoing certification
• ACLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire; maintain certification
• PALS (AHA) within 30 days of hire; maintain certification
• At least one year of perioperative nursing experience or on-the-job training
• EPIC EMR proficiency
• Pre/Post Op experience
• Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) (AORN) preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Role Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with surgeons and anesthesiologists to coordinate patient care throughout the perioperative process
• Deliver direct and indirect care for neonates through older adults using the nursing process
• Guide and supervise OR technicians and other support staff
• Ensure safe, efficient patient flow and maintain OR organization
• Uphold hospital standards, policies, and regulatory compliance
• Participate in unit meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and serve as a resource for peers
• Remain adaptable for call coverage as needed
