Qualifications:

  • Current and unrestricted RN license
  • Minimum one year of recent experience in an Operating Room setting
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
  • Strong knowledge of preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care
  • Outstanding communication and critical-thinking abilities
  • Ability to stay calm and organized during high-stress situations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other members of the surgical team
  • Monitor patient status, maintain accurate documentation, and respond swiftly to any changes
  • Ensure all surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies are sterile and properly prepared
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards at all times
  • Offer supportive education to patients and families regarding procedures and postoperative care
