Key Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted RN license
  • Proven experience in an acute care Operating Room
  • Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques, surgical instrumentation, and intraoperative patient monitoring
  • Demonstrated proficiency with circulating and scrubbing duties
  • Ability to respond efficiently in emergencies and adapt in fast-paced surgical settings
  • Current certifications in BLS and ACLS preferred
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and team collaboration skills

Schedule and Hours:

  • Variable shifts, including potential on-call or weekend coverage

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe and effective nursing care before, during, and after surgery
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to optimize patient safety
  • Monitor patient vital signs and record intraoperative details accurately
  • Ensure proper handling of surgical equipment and maintenance of sterile fields
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding perioperative processes
  • Advocate for patients’ wellbeing, privacy, and comfort at every stage of care
