Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday
- On-call requirement: One weekday per week and 1-2 weekend days per month
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license with specialized experience in the Operating Room
- Current certification as a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA), Physician Assistant (PA), or Surgical Assistant (SA); CST certification is not accepted for this position
- Comprehensive knowledge of perioperative nursing principles, surgical procedures, and sterile technique
- Demonstrated experience assisting in advanced surgical cases, preferably within a trauma center or acute care setting
- Exceptional collaboration, communication, and critical-thinking abilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care and advanced assistance during surgical procedures in a busy Operating Room
- Utilize RNFA, PA, or SA skills to assist surgeons during operative interventions, ensuring patient safety and optimized workflow
- Effectively manage preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient needs
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation and uphold standards of patient care and confidentiality
- Respond rapidly and competently in emergency or trauma situations as required by a Level 3 trauma center
- Participate in orientation, ongoing training, and interdisciplinary collaboration

$1,815 - $1,920/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
