Registered Nurse - Operating Room | Woodbridge, Virginia

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license and in good standing
• Minimum of one year of perioperative nursing experience preferred
• Proficient with circulating and/or scrubbing in operating room cases
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred
• Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, and aseptic technique
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other staff
• Excellent communication skills and calm under pressure

Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care throughout all phases of surgery
• Prep the operating room and patients for procedures
• Monitor patients’ status and vital signs before, during, and after surgery
• Assist with surgical instrument handling, sterile field maintenance, and documentation
• Advocate for patient safety and support family communication as appropriate
• Comply with all infection control and hospital protocols
• Participate in postoperative care planning and room turnover procedures

$2,021 - $2,138/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
