Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) - Woodbridge, VA

Key Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Proficient in circulating and/or scrubbing for a variety of surgical cases
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure and fast-paced situations
• Commitment to safety practices and adherence to infection control protocols

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists throughout procedures
• Prepare the operating room with necessary equipment and supplies prior to surgeries
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and advocate for quality patient care at every stage
• Document all care provided and communicate effectively with healthcare team members
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and emergencies when required
• Support post-anesthesia recovery and assist with patient transport as needed
