Registered Nurse - Operating Room | Youngsville, Louisiana

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN (perioperative/OR)
• Current BLS certification (and ACLS preferred)
• Demonstrated expertise in scrubbing and circulating roles
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure environments
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room with necessary surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to ensure optimal procedural outcomes
• Monitor patient status and provide direct care before, during, and after surgery
• Maintain aseptic and sterile techniques throughout procedures
• Circulate and/or scrub as required to support the surgical team
• Adhere to established protocols, infection control, and safety standards
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately
