A leadership nursing opportunity is available in Bangor, ME, focused on delivering comprehensive care and supporting the nursing team in a well-established healthcare facility. This contract role requires an experienced professional to coordinate nursing care, assist the Director in meeting departmental goals, and provide quality management and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and direct total nursing care for assigned residents during shifts
- Assume full responsibility for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
- Participate in patient and family education
- Provide leadership by collaborating with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members
- Support quality management initiatives and serve as a resource on the unit
- Provide administrative backup in the Director’s absence
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (2-year degree minimum)
- Minimum 3 years nursing experience
- Active RN license in the state of Maine or a Compact RN license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
