A leadership nursing opportunity is available in Bangor, ME, focused on delivering comprehensive care and supporting the nursing team in a well-established healthcare facility. This contract role requires an experienced professional to coordinate nursing care, assist the Director in meeting departmental goals, and provide quality management and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and direct total nursing care for assigned residents during shifts
  • Assume full responsibility for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
  • Participate in patient and family education
  • Provide leadership by collaborating with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members
  • Support quality management initiatives and serve as a resource on the unit
  • Provide administrative backup in the Director’s absence
  • Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing (2-year degree minimum)
  • Minimum 3 years nursing experience
  • Active RN license in the state of Maine or a Compact RN license
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
