This contract opportunity offers a 13-week assignment, where you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting families during a crucial time. Schedule:

  • 36 hours per week
  • 12-hour shifts (7:00 pm – 7:30 am)
  • Every other weekend required

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license
  • Demonstrated experience working with high-risk mothers and infants
  • Previous employment at a high-risk or tertiary care facility
  • Current BLS and NRP certifications
  • Skilled in thorough and accurate documentation
  • Strong communication abilities; adept at asking detailed and open-ended questions for patient assessment
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a proactive team member
  • Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and provide comprehensive patient care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Delegate and supervise care as necessary, ensuring teaching and support for patients and families
  • Effectively communicate vital patient and family details to the healthcare team
  • Address and resolve variances from patient care goals, implementing actionable solutions
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of all care-related activities
