This contract opportunity offers a 13-week assignment, where you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting families during a crucial time. Schedule:
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts (7:00 pm – 7:30 am)
- Every other weekend required
Qualifications:
- Current RN license
- Demonstrated experience working with high-risk mothers and infants
- Previous employment at a high-risk or tertiary care facility
- Current BLS and NRP certifications
- Skilled in thorough and accurate documentation
- Strong communication abilities; adept at asking detailed and open-ended questions for patient assessment
- Ability to work autonomously and as a proactive team member
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and provide comprehensive patient care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Delegate and supervise care as necessary, ensuring teaching and support for patients and families
- Effectively communicate vital patient and family details to the healthcare team
- Address and resolve variances from patient care goals, implementing actionable solutions
- Maintain meticulous documentation of all care-related activities
