Deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic Cardiac Stepdown setting, utilizing your expertise as a Registered Nurse. This position offers the valuable opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team, supporting patients post-cardiac procedures and those requiring intermediate care beyond the intensive care unit.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active RN license, in good standing
  • Prior experience in cardiac stepdown or similar progressive care environments
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills
  • Energetic and compassionate approach to patient care
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and assess cardiac stepdown patients, responding promptly to changes in condition and implementing physician-ordered interventions
  • Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and perform nursing procedures with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to coordinate care plans for optimal patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and families on recovery processes, medications, and ongoing health management
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with facility policies
  • Contribute to a supportive work environment and participate in quality improvement initiatives
