Deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic Cardiac Stepdown setting, utilizing your expertise as a Registered Nurse. Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license, in good standing
- Prior experience in cardiac stepdown or similar progressive care environments
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Energetic and compassionate approach to patient care
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess cardiac stepdown patients, responding promptly to changes in condition and implementing physician-ordered interventions
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and perform nursing procedures with accuracy and attention to detail
- Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to coordinate care plans for optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on recovery processes, medications, and ongoing health management
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with facility policies
- Contribute to a supportive work environment and participate in quality improvement initiatives
