Qualifications:
- Valid, unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in a cardiac stepdown or telemetry setting
- Strong knowledge of cardiac rhythms and monitoring equipment
- Proficiency in critical thinking and patient assessment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Closely monitor and assess cardiac stepdown patients’ conditions, recognizing changes promptly
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and cardiac interventions per protocol
- Operate telemetry equipment and interpret cardiac rhythms accurately
