Deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic long-term acute care setting, working closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams. This contract role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse seeking to contribute expertise in patient assessment, care coordination, and clinical documentation within an LTAC environment.

Requirements & Experience:

  • Current, active RN license
  • Demonstrated experience in long-term acute care or a comparable advanced clinical setting
  • Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to manage complex/chronic health conditions
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues, patients, and families
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Familiarity with electronic health records and compliance standards is preferred

Schedule:

  • Full-time contract position
  • Assigned shifts may include days, evenings, nights, or weekends, based on facility needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care and oversight for patients with acute or chronic health conditions
  • Monitor, evaluate, and document patient progress, responding promptly to changes in patient status
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to implement patient-specific care plans
  • Administer medications and participate in interventions as ordered
  • Educate patients and families on care needs and post-discharge plans
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, infection control, and all facility policies
