Step into an impactful nursing role supporting patients in a long term acute care environment. This contract opportunity requires an experienced RN ready to deliver exceptional care to individuals facing medically complex conditions, with a focus on progress and patient-centered outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care for a diverse caseload of LTAC patients.
  • Perform assessments, develop and implement care plans, and document patient progress according to facility standards.
  • Administer treatments, medications, and monitor patient responses.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient recovery and discharge planning.
  • Offer support and education to patients and their families regarding disease processes, care requirements, and recovery goals.
  • Uphold all facility protocols and regulatory standards.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time contract
  • Specific shifts and duration to be discussed during the interview process.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active and unencumbered RN license.
  • Proven clinical experience in long term acute care or a similar setting.
  • Proficiency in advanced assessment, critical thinking, and intervention for medically complex patients.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability to shifting priorities.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred.
