Experienced Registered Nurses are needed for an engaging contract opportunity, providing high-quality care for patients with complex medical conditions requiring extended recovery. This role will allow you to apply your critical thinking and compassionate patient advocacy skills while collaborating with an expert interdisciplinary team.
Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time contract positions
- Variable shifts available; discuss preferred scheduling during interview
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current, unencumbered RN licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience in an LTAC, critical care, or similar acute care nursing setting
- BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced clinical environment
- Experience with ventilated or medically complex patients a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based, direct nursing care to patients with chronic or acute illnesses
- Monitor, assess, and document vital signs and patient progress
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and manage wound care per established protocols
- Offer education and emotional support to patients and families regarding conditions and treatments
- Maintain accurate, timely medical records and communicate updates to the healthcare team
- Uphold infection control standards and ensure patient safety throughout all aspects of care
