Working in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), you’ll collaborate with diverse and supportive teams, gaining valuable exposure to different workplace dynamics and leadership styles. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide vigilant, compassionate care to post-operative patients, monitoring vital signs and managing pain or complications during recovery.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow nurses to ensure safe and smooth postoperative transitions.
• Advocate for patients by assessing progress and communicating status or concerns with the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate, detailed records in accordance with established protocols.
• Deliver education and clear discharge instructions to patients and their families.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current RN license (in good standing).
• Minimum of one year of recent PACU nursing experience.
• Advanced knowledge of post-anesthesia care standards and practices.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and assessment skills.
