Travel Registered Nurse - PACU (RN) - Andover, Kansas

This position in a dynamic Pre-Op/ASU unit will expose you to the latest in perioperative care, modern medical equipment, and new EMR systems (utilizing Meditech). Collaborate with a tenured team of dedicated RN professionals and enhance your clinical versatility by assisting across a wide range of procedures—phase 2 recoveries, pre-op surgeries, outpatient infusions, EKGs, and more. Schedule/Hours

• Day shift (5A - 5P)
• On-call required (with a 30-minute response time)

Desired Qualifications

• Current RN license with minimum 1-year acute care, pre-op hospital experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• Excellent patient communication and team collaboration skills
• Previous pre-op experience or comfort assisting pre-op staff is highly desired

Key Responsibilities

• Manage care for patients through the preoperative process, including surgery prep, infusions, and monitoring
• Support phase 2 recoveries for urology, GYN, and SDS patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure outstanding patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate records in Meditech
• Participate in on-call rotations, responding within 30 minutes as needed
