This position in a dynamic Pre-Op/ASU unit will expose you to the latest in perioperative care, modern medical equipment, and new EMR systems (utilizing Meditech). Collaborate with a tenured team of dedicated RN professionals and enhance your clinical versatility by assisting across a wide range of procedures—phase 2 recoveries, pre-op surgeries, outpatient infusions, EKGs, and more. The facility fosters an environment where patient experience and clear team communication come first, allowing you to refine leadership skills and absorb diverse best practices in pre- and post-operative nursing care.

Schedule/Hours
- Day shift (5A - 5P)
- On-call required (with a 30-minute response time)
Desired Qualifications
- Current RN license with minimum 1-year acute care, pre-op hospital experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Meditech EMR experience preferred
- Excellent patient communication and team collaboration skills
- Previous pre-op experience or comfort assisting pre-op staff is highly desired
Key Responsibilities
- Manage care for patients through the preoperative process, including surgery prep, infusions, and monitoring
- Support phase 2 recoveries for urology, GYN, and SDS patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure outstanding patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate records in Meditech
- Participate in on-call rotations, responding within 30 minutes as needed
