Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, unrestricted RN license
• At least one year of experience in PACU or Post Anesthesia Care
• Strong assessment, monitoring, and patient advocacy skills
• Proficient with pain management, airway management, and critical care techniques
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Detail-oriented, compassionate, and able to work effectively in high-pressure situations

Role Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures
• Assess patients’ conditions, respond to changes, and implement interventions as necessary
• Administer medications and manage IV lines in compliance with physician instructions
• Provide patient and family education regarding recovery processes and discharge plans
• Accurately document patient status and interventions
• Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and other multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
