A Registered Nurse with expertise in perioperative care is needed to provide comprehensive nursing services in all phases of the surgical patient experience. This position involves delivering quality care in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative settings using established nursing standards, policies, and procedures. The RN will serve as a patient advocate and oversee any assigned personnel, ensuring high standards of care are maintained. Reporting to the Unit Nurse Manager, House Supervisor, or RN Team Leader, this role requires collaboration and adherence to hospital protocols.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver perioperative nursing care throughout pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases
- Advocate for surgical patients and provide compassionate care
- Supervise and direct nursing personnel as assigned
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in on-call rotation as required
- Float to other qualified departments as needed before core staff
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with perioperative nursing skills
- Experience in surgical patient care and perioperative protocols
- Ability to supervise personnel and advocate for patients
- Flexibility to float to other nursing departments
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Schedule / Hours:
- Shift: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM
- Includes on-call rotation
