Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour rotating shifts, 36 hours/week (must be available for day and evening shifts)
- Day: 6a-6:30p, 7a-7:30p, 8a-8:30p
- Evening: 9a-9:30p, 10a-10:30p, 11a-11:30p
- Every 3rd weekend and holiday as needed
- No call required
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years PACU experience (Phase 1 recovery; complex neuro, thoracic, vascular, ortho spine cases)
- Pediatric experience required
- Proficient in independent telemetry rhythm strip interpretation and heart block identification (must pass Tele test, 84%+ on day one)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS required; TNCC preferred
Experience with these case types a plus:
- Trauma, Pediatrics, Ortho, General, Cardiac Cath, IR, Neuro (IR), EP Cases
- Facility averages 30-60 cases daily, open 24/7
- Flexibility to float to other PACU units as needed
