Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour shifts, rotating across days and evenings:
- Day: 6:00a–6:30p, 7:00a–7:30p, 8:00a–8:30p
- Evening: 9:00a–9:30p, 10:00a–10:30p, 11:00a–11:30p
- Must be available for any combination of shifts
- Every 3rd weekend and every 3rd holiday as needed
- No on-call requirements
- May float to alternate PACU as needed
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years of PACU experience, including strong phase 1 recovery for complex cases
- Direct experience with pediatric patients (REQUIRED)
- Proficient in reading and interpreting telemetry rhythm strips, including heart blocks (must pass Tele test, min. 84%)
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (TNCC preferred)
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage recovery for diverse cases: trauma, pediatrics, ortho, general, cardiac cath, IR, neuro, and EP
- Handle daily case load (30–60) in a 24/7 unit
- Deliver safe, comprehensive care and respond adeptly to emergencies
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Float between units as patient needs require
