Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license with clear standing
• Demonstrated experience in PACU or post-anesthesia care settings
• Expertise or interest in reproductive endocrinology, fertility, or OB/GYN nursing preferred
• Advanced clinical assessment and rapid response skills
• Strong communication abilities with patients and interdisciplinary teams
• Commitment to patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout the recovery process
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

Schedule:

• 5.25 and 12-hour shifts (details provided during the interview process)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia following reproductive endocrinology and OB/GYN procedures
• Provide compassionate nursing care and patient education during the post-operative phase
• Effectively manage pain and potential complications, acting swiftly to support patient safety
• Collaborate closely with physicians, surgical staff, and medical assistants to ensure seamless patient transitions
• Document all interventions, patient responses, and necessary follow-ups with accuracy
• Support patients and their loved ones with information, reassurance, and clear communication
