Hospital Registered Nurse - PACU | Cincinnati, Ohio

Desired Qualifications:

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Demonstrated experience in PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) nursing
• Proficient assessment, monitoring, and intervention skills for post-operative patients
• Strong communication abilities for effective interaction with physicians, patients, and families
• BLS and ACLS certification (required)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting and adapt to rapidly changing patient needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor vital signs and assess post-surgical patients during their transition from anesthesia to full consciousness
• Administer medications and interventions in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies
• Provide compassionate support and education to patients and their families during recovery
• Document patient responses, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Collaborate closely with the surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Maintain a calm and efficient environment, prioritizing care based on patient acuity and needs

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
