Key Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least one year of recent experience as an RN in a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) or recovery setting
• Proficient assessment and critical thinking skills for post-operative patients
• BLS and ACLS certifications (active and current)
• Excellent communication abilities for effective patient and family interactions
• Strong organizational and documentation skills

Essential Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage post-anesthesia patients, assessing for complications and addressing needs swiftly
• Provide high-quality nursing care in accordance with established protocols
• Assist in pain management, airway maintenance, and vital sign stabilization
• Accurately record all observations, interventions, and changes in patient condition
• Educate patients and families on recovery expectations and discharge instructions
• Collaborate effectively with surgical, anesthesiology, and other multidisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
