Deliver exceptional care to patients in a dynamic post-anesthesia care environment. This role calls for a skilled RN with expertise in PACU settings, providing compassionate recovery support to individuals after surgical procedures.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted RN license
  • Proven experience in a PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) setting
  • Comprehensive knowledge of recovery procedures, patient assessments, and medication administration in PACU
  • Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS) certifications required
  • Outstanding communication, critical thinking, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to remain attentive and calm in urgent situations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition during recovery following anesthesia
  • Deliver evidence-based nursing care and implement physician orders accurately and promptly
  • Educate patients and their families about post-operative care needs
  • Document all care activities, changes in patient status, and treatment responses according to regulatory and facility standards
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to optimize care and recovery
  • Respond swiftly to complications and emergencies using appropriate interventions
  • Maintain a secure, clean, and supportive PACU environment

Additional Information:

  • Contract position with consistent weekly scheduling
