Deliver expert care and support in a dynamic Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) setting, providing essential recovery services to surgical patients. This contract opportunity is perfect for skilled Registered Nurses with PACU experience seeking to contribute to patient-focused teams dedicated to reproductive endocrinology and OB/GYN care.
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in PACU, preferably in women’s health, reproductive, or OB/GYN settings
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Proficiency in post-anesthesia assessment and recovery protocols
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and critical-thinking abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing patient needs
Schedule:
- 12-hour night shifts (details provided during interview process)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage post-anesthesia patients, ensuring safety and optimal recovery
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary clinical teams, including reproductive specialists and OB/GYN providers
- Execute thorough assessments, document care accurately, and deliver appropriate interventions to address patient needs
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding recovery processes and expectations
- Administer medications, track vital signs, and respond to emergencies efficiently
- Uphold rigorous infection control, patient privacy, and regulatory standards throughout care delivery
