Travel Registered Nurse - PACU (RN) - Cortland, NY

As a Preop/PACU Registered Nurse, you'll gain exposure to a variety of peri-anesthesia practices, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and enhance your resume with experiences that can shape your future career. Schedule/Hours:

• 3x12s Days
• Shift options: 6a-6:30p, 7a-7:30p, 8a-8:30p, 9a-9:30p
• On-call approximately 3-4 weeknights and one 24-hour weekend call within each 8-week period
• Weeknight call: 9p–7a
• Weekend call: 7a Saturday–7a Sunday

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Current RN license with experience in PACU or Preoperative nursing
• Proficiency in peri-anesthesia patient assessment and monitoring
• Ability to remain calm and organized in fast-paced clinical settings
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care in Preoperative and PACU settings
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and responses to anesthesia
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the broader healthcare team
• Educate patients and their families on pre- and post-operative expectations
• Support safe transitions of care and maintain accurate documentation

$2,420 - $2,560/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
